World Title Calculator

The World title Calculator defaults at 9th and 17th places.
Note that because Gabriel Medina can drop lower scores, he is actually in first place with the current default settings. This is correct.

Set a Pipe finish for each title contender. The calculator checks the available places and recalculates the best 9 of 12 results.

Maximum number of surfers who can occupy each finishing band. The calculator prevents assigning more title contenders to a band than the event can contain.
How the math works
Each surfer's 11 completed event scores are loaded individually. The Pipe result is added, the lowest three of the 12 event scores are discarded, and the remaining nine are summed. The table ranks the contenders by that total. No title-win probabilities are invented.
Data: 2026 WSL men's results and points scale through the Philippines Pro at Cloud 9. Pipe points use the final-event scale. The calculator includes the ten surfers who remain mathematically in contention.
